WILMER – These days successful people have learned they have to wear more than one hat. Wilmer’s new Interim City Administrator Dr. John Hubbard, Ph.D. wears a few hats, so when he is not sitting behind his desk at Wilmer City Hall he is a professor at UNT Dallas in the school of business.

Police still searching for missing Ennis woman

ENNIS – Ennis Police were not revealing any new information this week in the case of the missing woman and single mother who disappeared more than a week ago. The Department was informed by a family member of the missing woman’s disappearance on Jan. 6.

Italy car crash kills 2, injures 5

ITALY – On Saturday, at approximately 5:35 p.m., Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers were called to a two-vehicle crash on FM 667, just south of White Rock Rd., in the city limits of Italy.
