The robbery that occurred in Red Oak in the 100 block of S. Summit Street a few weeks ago is still under investigation, according to Lieutenant Marc Schroeder, Red Oak Police Department.

Car stolen in aggravated robbery identified

RED OAK – Red Oak Police have located the 2016 Red Nissan Sentra that was stolen on Dec. 3 in the 100 block of S. Summit Street.
The vehicle was recovered unoccupied by the Dallas Police Department on Dec. 7 in the 4300 block of Bailey in South Dallas.

9-year-old double homicide case in Ferris moving forward

FERRIS – The Ferris Police Department may soon be able to report only two cold cases instead of three in that city.
A double homicide committed in January, 2010 will likely be referred by police to the Ellis County and District Attorney’s Office, along with a request for a Grand Jury Referral.
