RED OAK – The fight against the Coronavirus is taking place right here in Ellis County.  A clinical study of treatment for the virus is being conducted by Epic Medical Research located in Red Oak. The clinical research is being conducted by Dr.

Ferris confirms new city hall

FERRIS – Changes are afoot in Ferris.  The city is designing and renovating a new city hall to serve the community into the future, according to Ferris City Manager Brooks Williams.

Construction has started on the Te’Jun The Texas Cajun restaurant location in Red Oak. The restaurant is being built on the land between the Red Oak Municipal Lake and Southbound I-35E service road, just south of Red Oak Rd. exit.

Palmer man killed in Sunday motorcycle accident

CORSICANA – On Sunday, August 23 at 10:25 a.m., Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers were called to a two-vehicle crash on FM 813 approximately 2.2 miles south east of Palmer in Ellis County.
