FERRIS – While things might appear to be bigger in Texas in most cases, in Ferris, city leaders are pushing forward on a tiny project. On Sept. 21, Ferris Planning & Zoning along with the city council approved a zoning change for Lennar Homes of Texas Land and Construction, Ltd. to rezone 11.

OVILLA – There is all kinds of progress being made in the City of Ovilla. First, there was the Water Street Bridge Improvement Project that was scheduled to get underway. The city had originally began working with engineers back in October, 2018 to begin that much-needed improvement project.

FERRIS – If you thought you blinked and saw a wolf the last few years in Ferris, you might be correct. In fact, there has been a wolf – or a hybrid dog – working the streets after getting away from its owner a few years ago. Ferris Mayor Pro Tem Tommy Scott verified the dog was tough too.
