Body

RED OAK – Red Oak ISD values every family that resides within the boundaries of the district, across five different municipalities – Red Oak, Glenn Heights, Ovilla, Oak Leaf and Pecan Hill.

With top-ranked campuses in Ellis County, Red Oak ISD is attracting new families and we embrace our growth.

However, ROISD is not an open enrollment district, and there are clearly defined avenues for students to join our Hawk Family.

In providing the highest level of service to our constituents, we are altering the student residency requirements for all new enrollees.

TWO PROOFS OF RESIDENCY REQUIRED

Effective Sept. 22, parents/legal guardians wishing to enroll a new student(s) in Red Oak ISD must present two (2) proofs of residency aligning them in the attendance zone of the school where they are seeking enrollment.

New enrollees will also need current immunization records, parent driver’s license or Texas ID card, and student proof of identity.

The change will also apply to all current students when they complete the online registration for returning students next summer.

The district will pursue appropriate action for individuals who do not meet the district’s residency criteria and/or falsify residency documentation including tuition reimbursement.
