FERRIS – The Ferris Dollar General was robbed at gun point around 11 p.m. last Thursday, Oct. 22.
Ferris Police responded to 620 S. Central where three unknown black males had taken cash from the register and robbed several customers of their purses or wallets.
The suspect vehicle was a possible maroon, four-door car that left north bound on Central from the location.
One witness said he was outside, waiting for his girlfriend to get off of work to take her home, when the robbery took place.
While he was sitting in his car, he saw one of the employees give him a sign to say the business was closed.
As the witness continued to wait, he saw a black male wearing a gray hoodie and blue mask come out of the store and walk up to his vehicle, where he demanded the witness’ phone and keys – which he handed over.
The black male then went back inside the store, and the witness took off running north towards town to try and get help.
One of the victims said she was standing at the front of the store when another suspect came into the store wearing a black hoodie, black pants and a blue turban style head covering, which covered everything but his eyes.
He grabbed her by the wrist while holding a black handgun in his right hand. Witness said a silver handgun with an extended magazine was also seen.
There was approximately $900 in the safe and $400 in register at the time.
The Euless Police Department recovered a vehicle believed to be to be related to the robbery.
