WAXAHACHIE – A collision involving two 18-wheelers near Waxahachie closed all northbound lanes of Interstate 35E early Wednesday morning. According to the Texas Department of Transportation, the crash occurred at 4:18 a.m. in Forreston at FM329.

WAXAHACHIE – An Ellis County jury convicted Kelton Everett Evans Jr., 30, of Grand Prairie of Possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1-B (Fentanyl) with Intent to Deliver on March 11. Evans was sentenced to 60 years in prison and a fine of $75,000.
