Two 18-wheeler collision closes all I-35E northbound lanes near Waxahachie

WAXAHACHIE – A collision involving two 18-wheelers near Waxahachie closed all northbound lanes of Interstate 35E early Wednesday morning.

According to the Texas Department of Transportation, the crash occurred at 4:18 a.m. in Forreston at FM329.

Traffic is currently being diverted to the exit, resulting in severe delays.

The Ellis County Sheriff’s Office reported those involved were transported to local hospitals; however, the number and extent of injuries are currently unknown.

The Department of Public Safety is leading the investigation.
