Man drowns attempting to save local teenager

WAXAHACHIE – A 21-year-old man, Lincer Mejia Lopez, drowned over the weekend attempting to save a female teenager in distress, according to a Waxahachie Police Department Facebook post.The incident occurred on Saturday, Aug. 24 at approximately 12:45 p.m.

4 suspects arrested stealing generators from Tractor Supply

ENNIS – Ennis Police made quick arrests on July 30 in the afternoon after being notified four men had exited the Tractor Supply store in the 300 block of Interstate 45 with three stolen generators.An employee from the Tractor Supply called police advising them of the theft.
