Ovilla enters discussion for the unborn sanctuary city

Ennis begins exit process of Texas nursing facilities program

ENNIS – Last week, The Ellis County Press published an article concerning the City of Ennis’ involvement with owning the operating licenses for 20-plus nursing facilities in Texas.It indicated Ennis Mayor Kameron Raburn did not respond to questions regarding the article.

Moving the Wall

Local police, Texas Civil Defense and patriots escorted the Veterans Memorial Wall from Ennis to Waxahachie last Thursday.The ‘Wall’ was on display during Veterans Day Ceremonies held at the Waxahachie Civic Center Saturday.

WAXAHACHIE – The Tom Thumb in Waxahachie finally opened its doors a few weeks ago to great fanfare with food demos, give aways, and amazing sales. The Waxahachie High School band, cheer team and drill team opened the grand opening followed by a ribbon cutting and opening remarks.

Nursing home abuse plagues Ennis owned facilities

ENNIS – City of Ennis Mayor Kameron Raburn did not respond to questions regarding a situation he apparently inherited, and did not create.Rayburn took the role of mayor in Ennis in May, and was on the commission prior to his mayoral seat since 2022.
