ENNIS – Last Friday, the Ennis Police Department posted on social media that a missing person, John Weatherton, 36 had been found.
It is unclear how many days Ennis PD had been looking for the Ennis resident.
Weatherton had been described as “Approximately 5’7” tall, weighing between 185 to 200 pounds. He had short hair and a beard, along with a Texas tattoo on his right hand. John was last seen wearing a black and grey jacket and gray sweatpants.”
His family had apparently reported him missing and said he suffered from multiple mental health disorders and may have walked away. It was almost mentioned he had no money on him.
The Ennis Police had asked the community for their help.
“Your assistance as a community member is invaluable in helping to bring John home to his family.”
