60 Life School students compete in 4th annual event

RED OAK – Life School, a leading North Texas public charter school serving over 5,600 students, held its fourth annual Elementary Science Fair at its Red Oak campus on Feb. 8.
Cub Scouts Pack 206 and Boy Scouts Troop 206 of Ferris collected 462 items for the North Ellis County Outreach in Ferris as part of the National Scouting for Food campaign which is done every February across the nation. Thank you to all those who donated to this worthy cause.

The Ferris Public Library has Voter Registration Cards available. You must be a registered voter to vote in the upcoming General and Special Elections on May 4, 2019. It’s simple, get the card, fill it out and mail it, no postage necessary!

Matthew Louque of Waxahachie was recently initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society. Louque was initiated at Louisiana Tech University.
