FERRIS PUBLIC LIBRARY: More than books (March 14, 2019)

Over 130 children’s black history books were checked out in February as the Ferris Public Library celebrated Black History Month. The library randomly chose three winning black history books and flagged them in their computer system.

Monday: Mindfulness Movement – come learn about the benefits of mindfulness movement. Wednesday: Wellness Wednesday – we will be doing some inside walking. Friday: Free Style – we will be enjoying board games, coloring and other fun things.

FREE SPRING BREAK MOVIE MANTINEE! “Ralph Breaks the Internet” Wednesday, Mar. 13, 10 a.m. (PG, 112 minutes long) Everyone is invited, no library membership is required. Popcorn and drinks will be served. Children ages 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

FERRIS PUBLIC LIBRARY: More than books (Feb. 28, 2019)

Mrs. Bea Wallace commissioned Rick Brettell to help her publish a book on the South Creek Ranch as a tribute to her late husband, Mr. Ray Wallace. This book is fabulous. It has superbly captured photographs and fascinating text filled with history.
