LOCAL STUDENT UPDATE: Feb. 7, 2019

Courtney Kendrick of Red Oak has been named to the Fall 2018 Dean’s List for McMurry University. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, a student must have maintained at least a 3.5 grade point average while taking twelve or more credit hours.

THE FERRIS PUBLIC LIBRARY: More than books (Feb. 7, 2019)

3rd grade students from Lucy Mae McDonald Elementary visited the Ferris Public Library Jan. 31 and were treated to a story, given a tour and were told about all the programs the library holds throughout the year.

Monday, Jan. 21 Closed.   Wednesday, Jan. 23 It is so good to be back at work and to see each one of you. The covered dishes were delicious and enjoyed by all.   Thursday, Jan. 24 We were sorry to learn that Don Hollywood is at Baylor Hospital in Dallas. Don, hurry and get well.

The Ferris Public Library’s 7th Annual Take Your Child to the Library Day will be held on Saturday, Feb. 2. Come celebrate with us and get your child a free library membership, no matter where you live. All children ages 7 – 16 can receive a free library card from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
