Marine Corps League launches F.A.I.T.H. Program

ENNIS – The Ellis County Detachment 1452 has been working hard to organize and ultimately activate this program within our non-profit corporation and the time has finally come. Project F.A.I.T.H.

This week in Texas History

April 1, 1934 – Patrolmen H. D. Murphy and Edward Wheeler were shot and killed on Easter Sunday by the notorious outlaws, Bonnie and Clyde. The two patrolmen had stopped their motorcycles at the intersection of Hwy. 114 and Dove Rd.

FERRIS – Even though the weather was unseasonably cold this past Saturday, did not stop the Ferris City Council candidates being supported by the political action committee called Citizens to Free Ferris from meeting and greeting residents.

FERRIS PUBLIC LIBRARY: More than books (March 28, 2019)

The Ferris Public Library will be offering free Basic Computer Classes on Wednesday, March 27 – Friday, March 29. Classes will be held from 10 a.m. – noon on each of these days. Another class in Spanish will be held Wednesday, April 3 – Friday, April 5, 10 a.m. – noon.
