More Waxahachie road work this week

WAXAHACHIE – It’s summertime, and that means road work.This past Monday, July 7, the Waxahachie Streets Department began re-striping W. Marvin from Ferris to N. Grand. This work will take about two weeks, with the caveat weather permitting.

NORTHBOUND I-45 RAMP TO WESTBOUND I-30 CLOSES JULY 7 IN DALLAS

DALLAS – Weather permitting, the northbound Interstate 45 (I-45) off-ramp to westbound Interstate 30 (I-30) will be closed from 9 p.m. Monday, July 7 through early August as part of an ongoing bridge maintenance project.

WESTBOUND I-30 RAMP TO SOUTHBOUND I-45 CLOSES NIGHTLY STARTING JUNE 30 IN DALLAS

DALLAS – Weather permitting, the westbound I-30 off-ramp to southbound I-45 will be closed nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. from Monday, June 30 to Wednesday, July 2 for bridge maintenance.A signed detour will be in place. Drivers should plan ahead for delays and extra travel time.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Southbound I-45 narrows, ramp closes at I-30 in Dallas starting June 6

DALLAS – Weather permitting, the following closures are scheduled this weekend: Southbound Interstate 45 (I-45) will be narrowed, at times to one open lane, between Cesar Chavez Boulevard (just north of I-30) and Logan Street (just south of I-30) from 8 p.m. Friday, June 6 to 5 a.m.

Red Oak road closure scheduled for this weekend

RED OAK – While there is already road work snarling traffic in the City of Red Oak, on Friday, April 4 at 9 p.m. to Saturday, April 5 at noon residents are in for another major traffic inconvenience.

STORM POWER OUTAGE CAUSES DISCHARGE AT FERRIS’ TRINITY RIVER AUTHORITY WASTEWATER TREATMENT FACILITY

FERRIS – A discharge of non-disinfected, treated wastewater occurred Sunday, March 30, at the Trinity River Authority’s Ten Mile Creek Regional Wastewater System plant in Ferris. The discharge was caused by an electrical power outage caused by severe storms in the area.

NORTHBOUND I-45 NARROWS NEAR US 175 STARTING MARCH 28 IN DALLAS

DALLAS – Weather permitting, northbound Interstate 45 (I-45) will be narrowed to one lane between Botham Jean Boulevard (near the US 175 junction) and Al Lipscomb Way (just south of the I-30 junction) from 8 p.m. Friday, March 28 to 5 a.m. Monday, March 31 for an ongoing bridge maintenance project.

SPUR 394 CONSTRUCTION IN ELLIS COUNTY TO BE DISCUSSED STARTING MARCH 20

ELLIS COUNTY - Starting March 20, TxDOT will share plans for building nearly two miles of a new highway route in Waxahachie.State Spur (SS) 394 would be constructed between Interstate 35E (I-35E) and FM 877 to help meet future traffic demands in the area.
