7 burglaries in Red Oak could be linked to a bigger ring

RED OAK – It began last Monday, Dec. 8, when Red Oak police were dispatched to the 200 block of Ovilla Road. A call came in at about 2:53 a.m. letting police know the business burglary alarm at First Aid Wireless had been triggered.
The Ferris Police Department received a tip from an anonymous source about stolen items being stored at a residence located in the 300 block of N. Main. Suspects Mikal Andrew Reedy, 22, and Lars Vincent Wells, 20, were arrested for possession of stolen property.

FERRIS – Stolen purses, car speakers, car stereos, telephone chargers, flat screen televisions and power tools were found at a residence in Ferris last week.

3-vehicle crash on Monday claims Scurry woman’s life

CORSICANA – One person was killed, and another was seriously injured in a three-vehicle accident Monday, Dec. 14 in Ellis County.  According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, at approximately 3:06 p.m. Dec.
