WILMER – The City of Wilmer began helping residents register for the COVID-19 vaccination this week.   Between Feb. 8 to 26, Wilmer residents can receive help in person or by phone to register for the COVID-19 vaccine.

AUSTIN – The state will be in much better financial shape than it appeared last summer, and could even end the current biennium with money in the bank, according to Senate Finance Chair and Flower Mound Senator Jane Nelson. “Who could have imagined that,” she said.

For questions on how to register or schedule an appointment, call 1 (844) 279-8222. They do not need to complete the Baylor Scott and White COVID-19 health screening, unless they seek a doctor visit

Planned Parenthood facilities in Texas will no longer receive taxpayer funds through the Medicaid program beginning Feb. 3. The state denied the abortion provider’s request to continue to receive Medicaid reimbursement funding for its clinics, as Catholic News Agency observed.
