Watch out for new vaccine survey scams

Senior Medicare Patrol of Texas has received reports of a new COVID-19 vaccine email scam where people are asked to complete a survey.  Scammers offer a free reward but ask people to pay a nominal fee “to cover shipping.” Survey scams like this are a creative way to steal your identity or money.

ECSO arrest child pornography suspect

ELLIS COUNTY – The Ellis County Sheriff’s Office arrested Waxahachie resident Jeremy Michael Lawson, 46, last week in relation to a possession of child pornography case they had been alerted to in January.
After receiving the supplies, volunteers at LMSW Waxahachie got to work sorting and organizing the supplies into large bags for teachers of their sister campuses that would help replenish some of what was lost in their classrooms.

Carrollton Amber Alert ends with arrest in RO

RED OAK – A missing 10-year-old Carrollton girl was found in Red Oak last week after an Amber Alert went out statewide. The girl’s mother, Maria Romero Ramos, 45, had been murdered, and Red Oak Police arrested suspect Ronald Singer, 35 for the crime and removal of the girl from her home.
