WAXAHACHIE – Plumbing problems wreaked havoc at the Ellis County Sheriff’s Department when, about a week-and-a-half ago, faulty pipes led to a flood there.According to Ellis County Sheriff Brad Norman, there was about two-inches of water standing everywhere.

WILMER – Wilmer City Council will hold a special city council meeting Thursday night to include a public hearing regarding an ordinance amendment to the City of Wilmer Community Plan 2030 (Comprehensive Plan).The plan was originally adopted June 18, 2009.

RED OAK – Two 18-year-old Dallas residents were arrested last week when Red Oak police were alerted to the burglary of a home in the 200 block of Brooks Court in the city’s Waterview Farms subdivision.On Thursday, Sept. 16 at around 5 p.m.
