Gas prices have fallen 6.5 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.76/g today, according to GasBuddy’s daily survey of 1,605 stations.Gas prices in Dallas are 5.9 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 83.2 cents per gallon higher than a year ago.

Another Hatfield joins the clan

Oliver Harrison Hatfield was born Sunday, Aug. 29, 2021 at 9:18 a.m. at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Denton.    Oliver weighed in at 7 lbs 11 oz, and is 21.5 inches long.He is the son of Erik Charles Hatfield and Megan Danielle Hatfield of Denton and the brother of Audrey Grace Hatfield.

ELLIS COUNTY –  Early voting continues from Thursday, Aug. 26 to Friday, Aug. 27 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and one District 10 candidate has dropped out of the special election held Aug. 31.

ELLIS COUNTY – The Ellis County Commissioner’s Court was recently lauded for preserving the county’s cultural heritage during the recent population growth in the county as well as its economic development initiatives.

WAXAHACHIE – Enjoying warm friendships and cool shaved ice, Neighborhood Credit Union joined with Waxahachie leaders last week to break ground on a new location to be constructed at 1750 N. Highway 77, just south of Country Meadows Boulevard, in Waxahachie.
