Midlothian robbery suspects arrested

MIDLOTHIAN – Police reported two suspects were arrested last week from an aggravated robbery/first degree felony that occurred on May 14 at 8:49 p.m. at Texas Best Smokehouse & BBQ, on Plainview Road in Midlothian.

Waxahachie resident wins lotto

AUSTIN – An anonymous Waxahachie resident recently hit the lotto.According to the Texas Lottery Commission, the resident was a second-tier Mega Millions prize winner taking home $4 million after a late October win. The ticket, purchased at the Tiger Mart 41 on Brown St.

Aguilar Amber Alert canceled

WILMER – The Amber Alert for 10-year-old Ian Aguilar, which was issued several weeks ago out of Wilmer has been canceled.The alert was canceled on Nov. 25 at 3:30 p.m.Wilmer Police said Aguilar was safely returned to the United States and his family.
