Most of North Texas woke up to icy conditions Monday morning after sub-freezing temperatures brought light snow throughout the region overnight.
Ferris Municipal Center was no exception as snow covered icy streets, forcing residents to stay home.
During the weekend, shoppers emptied shelves in grocery stores anticipating the winter storm.
