2024 Stamp Out Hunger® Food Drive on May 11

Dallas – Saturday, May 11, marks the 32nd anniversary of one of America’s great days of giving - the National Association of Letter Carriers Stamp Out Hunger® Food Drive.These donations go directly to local food pantries to provide food to people who need our help.

Midlothian Police quickly catch vandalism suspects

MIDLOTHIAN – The Midlothian Police Department was able to identify at least four individuals responsible for vandalism at Midlothian Community Park last week within an hour of a Facebook post regarding the offense.

Waxahachie man receives three consecutive life sentences

WAXAHACIE – Rodney Allen Williams, 49, of Waxahachie, was convicted of one count of aggravated sexual assault of a child and two counts on indecency with a child after a jury trial.Ellis County and District Attorney Ann Montgomery announced Williams was sentenced to three consecutive life sentences.

Red Oak shooting suspect arrested

RED OAK – Last Wednesday, April 24 at 5:54 p.m., Red Oak Police were called to a shooting at the Red Oak Town Village apartments in the 200 block of S. Ryan Drive. The caller told dispatch her boyfriend had just been shot by his brother.

FERRIS – After more than eight years of anticipation, the City of Ferris announced the opening of the Marty Steinfeldt Public Safety Facility, located at 415 Ewing Blvd.
