Wilmer City Council votes on boundary adjustments

WILMER – It was a packed house last Thursday night at the Wilmer City Council meeting.The reason was an item on the agenda to discuss ordinances as related to possible boundary adjustments.

County increases aesthetic standards

ELLIS COUNTY – The Ellis County Commissioners’ Court recently approved a series of amendments to its Outdoor Business Order.The order was last updated in 2006.The amendments will include overall higher aesthetic standards for outdoor businesses.

Ferris ‘Access for All’ not government expansion

FERRIS – The City of Ferris rolled out its “Access for All” healthcare solution early last week.“Access for All” was introduced back in the summer by Ferris City Manager Brooks Williams.

WAXAHACHE – There are angels in Waxahachie. If you don’t believe it, just ask the Waxahachie Police Department.The PD’s Angel Tree with 35 angels have all been adopted from the tree for the holiday season.
