Grayson was vying for the open Ellis County Judge against former Ennis Mayor Kameron Raburn.

MIDLOTHIAN – Midlothian Police recently alerted residents to yet another scam that has been reported at local retail stores.According to police, individuals have been approaching customers near store entrances explaining they are raising money for travel sport’s teams or tournaments.

Maypearl contracts North Texas company DCI for residential waste collection

MAYPEARL – Maypearl recently contracted DCI Sanitation as its residential waste collection vendor.
A local sanitation company, DCI also serves the cities of Bardwell and Milford.
Service will begin April 12 with a twice weekly residential pickup.

Two 18-wheeler collision closes all I-35E northbound lanes near Waxahachie

WAXAHACHIE – A collision involving two 18-wheelers near Waxahachie closed all northbound lanes of Interstate 35E early Wednesday morning.
According to the Texas Department of Transportation, the crash occurred at 4:18 a.m. in Forreston at FM329.
