Wilmer nixes mixed use development

WILMER – At the Dec. 5 joint special meeting and regular meeting of the Wilmer City Council and Wilmer Planning and Zoning Commission, the planning and zoning commission denied a request to rezone 73 acres of an existing 95 acres of planned development – light industrial zoning district.

RED OAK POLICE ARREST 3 IN AGGRAVATED ROBBERY

RED OAK – Three suspects were arrested last week on aggravated robbery charges in the city of Red Oak. Revelation Jefferson, 17 from Dallas and Lemarcus Darell Ladd, 19 from Dallas were arrested on aggravated robbery charges as well as a third unnamed suspect.

Public input sought on Community Development Block Grant
