Now that Thanksgiving is over, I can sit back and recoup from the activity. I’m not sure about anybody else, but a holiday such as Thanksgiving takes a lot out of me. Of course, it puts a lot in me, but that’s another story.

Unity in the Community volunteers tore down a chain-link fence separating the white cemetery from the black cemetery. Amber Hall said a little history of the cemetery includes the fact is was once known as the “colored cemetery,” thus the reason for the chain link fence.

We had an incredible adventure with “Dora the Explorer” at last week’s Morning Movie Matinee. The kids all enjoyed popcorn while learning about the challenges of high school with her new friends.
The library will be holding a movie time again during the next school break.
