FERRIS – Get ready to take in some of the hometown spirit with Ferris’ upcoming Christmas on the Square. Sponsored by Ferris’ Unity in the Community organization, the Christmas celebration will be held on Saturday, Dec. 14 in downtown Ferris, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be vendors at 11 a.m.

Gallo seeking Ellis County Court at Law #3 judgeship

WAXAHACHIE – Joseph R. (Joe) Gallo officially filed his candidacy for judge of the Ellis County Court at Law No. 3, seeking the Republican Party nomination in the March primary election.
Located  off of  Interstate 35E, the new theatre will be a major addition to the dining, shopping and entertainment development known as Red Oak Legacy Square.  Projected opening date is Spring of 2021.

12-screen theater, bowling, arcade complex coming to Red Oak

RED OAK – B&B Theatres and Victron Group announced a new upscale, state-of-the-art theater complex will be opening in Red Oak to serve Ellis County and the surrounding communities. The review process by the Red Oak City Council is underway, and construction is slated to begin in early 2020.
