ELLIS COUNTY – The year 2021 will be a time when Americans and locals won’t forget when it comes to elections.  From the Presidential election that spilled over into 2021 drama to the postponed elections from May 2020, it is time to gear up and vote for the May 1, 2021 for City and ISD districts.

SPCA of Texas’ Paws Cause Re-scheduled for Feb.27

WAXAHACHIE – Due to the ongoing inclement weather, the SPCA of Texas has rescheduled the Paws Cause minimal contact goody bag drive-through pick-up (and delivery to select donor levels) to Saturday, Feb. 27 at the Jan Rees-Jones Animal Care Center in Dallas from 1 to 3 p.m.

Halle Law and Jessica Scheer of Midlothian were named to the Deans List for the Fall 2020 semester at the University of Alabama. Taylor Daniell of Ennis was named to the Dean’s List for the Fall 2020 semester at the University of Central Arkansas.
