The Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City, on March 25, 1911, was the deadliest industrial disaster in the history of the city, and one of the deadliest in U.S. history.

Wreck sends Ennis men to hospital

CORSICANA – Last Thursday at approximately 1:35 p.m., Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers were called to a three vehicle crash on Interstate 45 northbound, approximately one half mile south of FM 1183 in Ellis County.

Police investigate dead body found in Ferris

FERRIS – A 27-year old male was found dead Monday morning of an apparent self-inflected gunshot wound. Ferris police are investigating the incident behind a self-storage unit on FM 664 west of the post office.
