  ALMA Alma City Council meetings are generally held the third Tuesday of every month at 6 p.m. at Alma City Hall, 104 Interurban Rd. BARDWELL Bardwell City Council meetings are generally held on the first Monday of every month at Bardwell City Hall, 5746 Planter Gin Road.

At last week’s city council meeting a lease agreement was discussed with Ellis County ESD #11 for the property located at the Alma Fire Station. As of Aug, 2, Bardwell Lake is sitting at 420.67 feet elevation, which translates to exactly 97.5% capacity (rounded to 98% full).

  ALMA Alma’s Special City Council Meeting held Tuesday, July 28 included funding the purchase of the police vehicle approved at the July 21 regular city council meeting as well as discussing the appointing of a permanent chief of police.
