Serial abuser gets 50 years

WAXAHACHIE – Ellis County serial domestic abuser Robert Edgar Parham, III, was sentenced to 50 years in prison in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice system after he was convicted last week of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

RED OAK – Red Oak police are searching for suspects in a shooting that left an 18-year-old dead last week.Officers responded late Tuesday night to the 200 block of Troy Lane, a residential area off Cole Road, and found the victim lying in the road with gunshot wounds, according to police.
