MIDLOTHIAN – Police are reminding Walmart shoppers to be vigilant when shopping at that store due to a number of recent fraud offenses there.Police said suspects are targeting elderly victims watching as they use a debit card PIN in the stores self-checkout line.

ELLIS COUNTY – A 28-year-old Las Vegas man, Deandre DeSuza, was sentenced to life in prison last week by an Ellis County jury on charges of trafficking of persons.DeSuza is the first person sentenced in Ellis County for human trafficking.
