SANTA VISITS FERRIS ON A FIRE TRUCK

Santa rode through Ferris Friday in the Ferris Fire Truck.Santa left the fire station shortly after noon and made his way around town.Santa and the Ferris Fire Department passed as many neighborhoods and homes as possible giving out candy and treats.

Fatal crash shuts down I-45

PALMER – A 28-year-old Bedford man was killed and another person injured after a car drove the wrong way down Interstate 45 and crashed head on into an 18-wheeler Monday in Ellis County.According to police, the crash happened around 3 a.m.
