EYES ON ELLIS COUNTY (November 6, 2025)

 ALMAAlma will hold a toy drive on Dec. 9 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Alma City Hall, 104 Interurban Road.There will be photos with Santa and Mrs. Clause as well as photos sitting on a Texas Longhorn at the event and a bounce house, Christmas lights display, food and music.

 ITALY – The Italy City Council unanimously voted to terminate the city’s Police Chief, Scott McAuley.No interim was named to replace McAuley at this time.McAuley had been placed on leave in October prior to last week’s official termination by the city council.
