Missing Red Oak man found

RED OAK – A missing 76-year-old Red Oak man was found safely by Walker County Public Safety. Lloyd Dubose, who had last been seen Monday, Oct. 28 at around 9:30 a.m., took medication for dementia and diabetes.

Wilmer’s Pioneer Days parade featured past city mayors

WILMER – The city of Wilmer’s Pioneer Days marked its 35th year of celebration last weekend. The festivities began on Friday, Oct. 25 with a hometown parade and culminated on Sunday with a musical line-up that began at noon.

FBI releases 2018 crime statistics

For the second consecutive year, the estimated number of violentcrimesinthenationdecreased when compared with the previous year’s statistics, according to FBI figures released today. In 2018, violentcrimewasdown3.3percent from the 2017 number. Property crimes also dropped 6.
