FERRIS – The residents have spoken in Ferris and the May City Council elections look to be full of new faces. Many city residents are hoping these new faces will drive voters to the polls to see change in the city. The open council seats for the May election include places 2, 3 and 5.

Matthew Louque of Waxahachie was recently initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society. Louque was initiated at Louisiana Tech University.
