FERRIS PUBLIC LIBRARY: More than books (September 26, 2019)

The Ferris Public Library will be hosting a Free Adult Fall Craft Class on Saturday, Oct. 12, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The library will be supplying all the materials needed for the home décor project to the first ten people that arrive on time.

FERRIS – In standing-room only, Ferris residents packed the council chambers Monday to show their support for Public Safety Director Eddie Salazar. Supporters carried yellow signs with the word YES printed to let the council know they wanted to keep Salazar.

Ex Ferris athlete leads senior softball team (70+) to World Championship

Ferris graduate (1963) Gary Franklin, a former Ferris High School standout athlete, helped lead his local senior softball (70+) team to a World Championship last week in Dalton, Georgia. Franklin excelled in football and track & field for the Yellowjackets.
