SUSPECT ARRESTED IN MIDLOTHIAN MAN’S MURDER

DESOTO – DeSoto police have arrested a suspect in last Saturday’s fatal shooting of a 34-year-old Midlothian man.

Shooting reported at 2600 Block of W. Wintergreen Rd.

Lancaster – On Monday, May 24, 2021, at approximately 5:54 P.M., Lancaster police were dispatched to the 2600 block of W. Wintergreen Road in response to a “Shooting in progress.” Upon arrival, officers learned that the shooter was the victim of a stolen vehicle two days prior in Dallas, Texas.

1st jury trail held after 15 months suspension

ELLIS COUNTY – Ellis County courts are getting back to normalcy again after 15 months, and the first trial jury was held May 20 in the 40th District Court of Texas.

Waxahachie Council seats in runoff election

WAXAHACHIE – Residents in Waxahachie were able to go to the polls beginning this past Monday for the upcoming June 5 runoff election.  The runoff election is for two seats on the Waxahachie City Council; Place 4 and Place 5.
