RED OAK – A 31-year-old Red Oak man who lived on Buttercup Way was shot and killed Sunday afternoon by a man police say he was acquainted with prior to the shooting.

DESOTO – A 34-year-old Midlothian resident, Randall Thornhill, was shot and killed Saturday evening at around 9 p.m. while waiting in a white 2008 Mazda 3 at a gated property in the 300 block of Elerson Drive in DeSoto.
