Mary Dennis from Midlothian graduated with a B.S.N. – Nursing from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. Troy Fulcher of Waxahachie completed his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, Kentucky.

Koneh, Kalilu, 27, assault of pregnant person. Slocum, Michael, 34, parole violation-injury child/elderly/disable reckless serious bodily injury/mental. Holmes, Gregory, 42, DWI 3rd or more. Eguia, Maria, 67, assault-threat.

NICS background check numbers increases 21%

With gun sales reaching an “all-time high,” NICS office conducted 3,514,070 total background checks in April.  It was an about 21-percent increase over April 2020. There were 961,947 handgun-related checks, 549,244 long gun related checks, and 602,540 permit checks last month.
