Springfield College has named Navreet Pointer of Waxahachie to the dean’s list for academic excellence for the spring 2019 term. Pointer is studying Human Services. Criteria for selection to the dean’s list requires that the student must have a minimum semester grade point average of 3.

Maypearl’s Cameron Luedke wins Grand Champion at 2019 Texas Junior Angus Association Show

the 2019 Texas Junior Angus Association State Show Angus exhibitors led 189 entries at the 2019 Texas Junior Angus Association State Show, June 8-9 in Belton. Garrett Knebel, Bozeman, Mont., evaluated the entries before naming champions.

WILMER – Every year the Best Southwest Scholarships are given to local students in each of the Best Southwest Cities, normally at the end of the school year. Wilmer was proud to congratulate Jenna Richey this year as that city’s winner.

FERRIS PUBLIC LIBRARY: More than books (July 4, 2019)

Lions & Tigers & Bears oh my! Not quite those animals but All About Animals will be bringing animals to educate children and adults about their natural habitat on Wednesday, July 10 at 11 a.m. Ms. Cavallini has been providing high-quality, educational animal programs for over 18 years.
