  Join us on Tuesday, July 7, at 11 a.m. for Window to the Wild, an engaging presentation that brings visitors up close with fascinating wildlife while teaching about animal habitats, behaviors, and conservation efforts.

FERRIS PUBLIC LIBRARY: More than Books (June 18, 2026)

  On Monday, June 22 from 3 – 5 p.m., children ages 12 – 17 are invited to participate in an “Unsolved Case Files Mystery!” Teens will enjoy this interactive game where participants follow clues, examine the evidence, and work together to crack the case before time runs out.

FERRIS PUBLIC LIBRARY: More than Books (July 10, 2025)

Join us on Thursday, July 10 at 11 a.m. for a family movie showing of “Moana 2.” We will provide popcorn and water. Guests are welcome to bring additional snacks, if desired. Monday, July 14 is our Teen Movie & Pizza Party from 3-5 p.m. Please call the library to register today.

Independence Day, also known as the Fourth of July, is a holiday celebrated in the United States every year on July 4th. It marks the day in 1776 when the country declared independence from Great Britain. In 1941, Congress established the Fourth of July, or Independence Day, as a national holiday.
