Waxahachie PD seek answers in death of Tanner Vaughn

WAXAHACHIE – The Waxahachie Police Department is looking for clues in last week’s shooting death of 29-year-old Red Oak resident Tanner Vaughn. Vaughn was shot on June 22 at around 10:41 p.m. in the 200 block of Monticello Drive.
Taking home first place was the Complete Supply team which included Price Bahcall, Todd Kile, Chris Ohrn and Tyler Ervine. And for the first time in event history, Stuart Dunn of the Baylor Scott & White team made a hole in one and was awarded a complimentary pass to next year’s FFL Golf Tournament.

RED OAK – An estimated 40 people participated in Prayer in the Park last Thursday in Watkins Park. The event was hosted by two church pastors, Pastor David Johnston, Highland Meadows Church and Pastor Jared Thompson of Ardent Church.

FERRIS – On Monday, June 28, city departments began operating from the Farmers & Merchants State Bank Building 101 S. Main Street. The Water Utility Billing, Municipal Courts, Building Inspections & Permitting, Planning, Zoning, and Development Services moved from the building at 104 Central Drive.
