Midlothian Heritage spoils Ennis’ homecoming, 56-21

ENNIS – Dax Montelongo’s dominant performance with 214 rushing yards, five rushing touchdowns, and two passing touchdowns carried Midlothian Heritage past Ennis.Tied 7-7 in the second quarter, Montelongo scored on a 12-yard run.

MILFORD – Milford beat Fort Worth THESA 65-20 for homecoming – with the game called after three quarters.Swish Washington and Paola Gayton (pictured above) were named 2025 Homecoming King and Queen.

DeSoto dominates Waxahachie, 40-17

DESOTO– Junior running back SaRod Baker rushed for 217 yards and three touchdowns in a 40-17 rout of state-ranked Waxahachie on Friday.Baker was so dominant that he had 31 carries and 209 yards rushing through the first three quarters.

Red Oak bounces back, beats Ellison 39-26

 RED OAK – The Red Oak Hawks bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday and came out on top against the Ellison Eagles by a score of 39-26 on Friday, Sept, 19.

Waxahachie upsets nationally ranked Duncanville, 28-27

WAXAHACHIE – Waxahachie, storming back from an 18-point third-quarter deficit, stopped nationally ranked No. 4 Duncanville on fourth-and-2 with under two minutes remaining for a 28-27 upset of the top ranked area team at Lumpkins Stadium on Friday night.
