WAXAHACHIE – The Waxahachie Criminal Investigation Division recently determined reports of vehicles being stolen in the Pimlico neighborhood near U.S. Highway 287 was part of a bigger investigation that involved similar crimes in Dallas, Midlothian, Cedar Hill, Red Oak, and DeSoto.

OVILLA – A date for the public memorial ceremony for Ovilla Baby Jane Doe has been set for Oct. 10 at 2 p.m.Services will be held at Green Funeral Home, 105 Vintage Drive in Red Oak.Baby Jane Doe was found in an Ovilla dump truck by a sanitation worker in November 2024.Her identity remains unknown.
