MIDLOTHIAN – There was another theft at Walmart in Midlothian last week when two women apparently did not know how to count their money.

Midlothian Police are asking for help finding the women.

The incident took place on Sept. 20 when two female suspects were in Walmart using the store’s Scan & Go mobile checkout system according to Midlothian Police.

Suspects filled two shopping carts with merchandise and attempted to leave the store after paying only $40.18 for $822.42 worth of merchandise.

When the suspects were approached by the staff, they fled from the store.
Only one suspect was identified and is a black female, approximately 5’4–5’7 tall, wearing a green shirt.

She was accompanied by a child.

According to one law firm, in Texas $822 is generally classified as a misdemeanor. Typically, a theft involving property valued from $750 to $2,500 is classified as a Class A misdemeanor.
