Ferris man killed by bull identified as long-time Ellis Country resident

FERRIS – The Ferris man who was killed by a bull last week as reported by the Ellis County Sheriff’s Department was identified as long-time resident Stanley Hugh Wright Jr. Wright was 68 years old.

FERRIS – The Ellis County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a death that happened Monday around 2 p.m. in the 200 block of James Road in Ferris. A 911 call came in from a man who said a bull had possibly killed his son.

RED OAK – On Saturday April 22, the Red Oak High School FFA Club held a fund-raising car show at the Red Oak Middle School parking lot.The club was expecting 30-40 cars to register, but when registration ended around 10 a.m. Saturday morning, the club had registered more than 70 cars and trucks.
