WAXAHACHIE – Ellis County Commissioners voted unanimously to set the mandatory payment rate for the new fiscal year beginning Oct. 1.
MAYPEARL – Ellis County resident Ashley Nicole Boston reportedly embezzled almost $20,000 from the Maypearl Youth Cheer Association.
Boston was the former president of the association.
ELLIS COUNTY – Texas Governor Greg Abbott announced recently he has removed more than one million ineligible voters from voter rolls in the past few years.
MAYPEARL – Maypearl ISD is enforcing its phone free zones this school year. In the past, the district has been more relaxed in its enforcement.
